2. Information on This Website
Our pages are written to educate. They describe wildlife, the problems animals cause and the methods we use. This information is general and may not fit your property. It isn't a substitute for an on-site inspection, emergency help or medical advice. Photos show real jobs, but every property is different, and results vary.3. Inspections, Estimates and Agreements
A request through our website, by phone or by email is not a binding quote or a commitment to perform work. Most jobs start with an on-site wildlife inspection. A wildlife inspection is $149, and the fee is credited toward your job if you move forward. After the inspection, we provide a written estimate. The scope, price, schedule, materials and any follow-up visits are set by that estimate and our Terms and Conditions. If we find new conditions once work begins, we'll explain them and ask for your approval before doing additional paid work.4. Appointments and Property Access
Please give us accurate contact information and describe the problem as fully as you can. An adult who is authorized to approve work on the property should be available, or should arrange access in advance. Tell us about any known hazards, such as aggressive pets, unstable structures, hazardous materials or restricted areas. Weather, wildlife activity, emergencies and other conditions can change appointment times. We'll keep you informed.5. Wildlife Laws and How We Handle Animals
Wildlife control is regulated. Our work follows Maryland Department of Natural Resources rules and our state permit, along with federal law and the rules in Washington DC and Virginia where we work. Because of these rules:- Some species, including adult raccoons, skunks and foxes, cannot legally be relocated. We handle every animal as state law requires.
- Timing can be restricted during nesting and birthing seasons, including the summer bat maternity season and the nesting season for protected birds.
- Some birds are protected by the federal Migratory Bird Treaty Act, and certain work may need a federal permit. In most cases the property owner applies for that permit, and we help with the process.
- Maryland law protects the dens and shelters of certain animals, including reptiles, amphibians and furbearers. Please don't dig out, block or destroy a den or shelter yourself. Our permit allows us to do this work legally.
6. Payments, Financing and Service Plans
Deposits, payment schedules and taxes are set by your written estimate or agreement. We offer financing through a third-party lender. Approval, rates, fees and repayment terms are set by the lender in its own agreements, and we don't guarantee approval. We also offer pest and wildlife management plans that renew automatically each year. Your plan agreement states the price, what's included, the renewal date and how to cancel. We'll remind you before your plan renews, and you can cancel before the renewal date to stop the next term. Canceling a plan doesn't affect work already completed or a written warranty you hold.7. Warranties
A warranty applies only when we provide it in writing, and only under its written terms, including its coverage, length, exclusions and renewal requirements. Exclusion jobs come with our one-year general warranty. Our Full Home Exclusion package comes with the Full Home Exclusion warranty, which is renewable each year. Nothing on this website creates an unlimited guarantee against future wildlife or pest activity.8. Text Messages
If you agree to receive text messages from us, we'll text you about appointments, estimates, invoices, plan renewals and your service. Message frequency varies. Message and data rates may apply. Reply STOP to opt out at any time, or HELP for help. Consent to receive texts is not a condition of buying any service. See our Privacy Policy for how we handle your mobile information.9. Photos and Reviews
We photograph our work to document conditions, prepare inspection reports and support warranties. We may also use job photos on our website, on social media and in training. Before we do, we remove details that could identify you or your property, such as addresses, house numbers, faces, license plates and photo location data. If you'd rather we not use photos of your property, just tell us. If you send us a review or testimonial, we may share it publicly with your first name and last initial, unless you ask us not to.10.
